Isse jyada aur kya boloon. Yeh hai Delhi ke beech Shankar market ki baat jahan ek aurat ne sadak par bachhe ko janam diya & aur wahin dum tod diya par koi dilli wala use puchne nahin aaya. Yeh hai Dilli Mere Dost, Dilwalon ki.

Dil to raha nahin, sirf walon (logon) ki ho kar rah gayi hai. Hum sab ek chalte phirte lash ki tarah hi to hain, aur kya. Kehen ke liye sab bhgwaon ki pooja karte hain.

The Jawan who fought Kargil for us: Murdered in cold blood by Police

If the Indian government machinery & system doesn't get amended soon, this is what one can suffer from. An Army Jawan who fought in the Kargil was killed in cold blood by Madhya Pradesh police in an encounter citing him to be a Dacoit.

I take this as one the best honours any police can do to those who safeguard our borders across any country in the Globe. For a moment even if I were to believe that the concerned Armyman was involved into such activity, irony is tha...

Mother Teresa: An Indian more than any of us

It's her 100th birth anniversary & we are celebrating it. We are celebrating by remembering her. I am sure with so many people remembering her today even God would envy that. An Albanian by birth, an Indian by citizenship, A Saint by her profession. A true Saint, A saint who attained that by her deeds than her talks like many. Still there is much of thought going around to give her the title of "Sainthood". Anyways, that's a common irony now a days.

But the question I a...

Delayed but Relevant, Justice still dodges the poor!

Posted by Neeraj Singh on August 26, 2010 at 2:30 PM Comments comments (0)

When it comes to justice, it is mainly the poor who don't get it often in time. Being poorer is a context. Well, what it means is, if there is a conflict of interest between two affluential, the one richer will have an edge, in most of the cases. Poor, in most of such cases, also don't press for justice for long. Take any of the "Hit & Run" cases that have happened in the recent years. Poor need money more than justice because he feels what has happened can't be reverted so what...

Indian Army: With You for You Always

Posted by Neeraj Singh on August 21, 2010 at 9:22 AM Comments comments (0)

Generally when you look at this Slogan, you will get reminded of Delhi Police. Well, creating a slogan is one thing & upkeep of the same is another. More than Delhi Police, It actually applies to the Indian Army is what I have started to believe on most occasions & why not, its the Indian Army who is brought into action whenever there is a crisis. Be it if a child has fallen into pit (there are multi million examples of this in the recent past), Be it if the Borders have to be se...

Metro Man is now leading the Anti-Corruption tirade

Posted by Neeraj Singh on August 18, 2010 at 7:02 PM Comments comments (0)

What would have caused E Sreedharan to take up a cause like anti-corruption when he was busy making India proud with his projects like Konkan railways & Delhi Metro to name a few. An engineer by academics & profession, why would he want to venture into such a subject. Why people like Santosh N Hegde are out on the streets protesting against the rampant corruption. Does it strike any chord to you, well it does to me. These are some of the great pillars of "The India Shining" & even...

I have a habit of picking up the news stories from various news channels & then putting it across on this site along with my thoughts on it. Sitting at cozy chair, browsing thru the net, finding relevant stories & posting it here has become my hobby, of late. Because I feel, by doing that, I am trying to bring people of similar thoughtprocess on the same platform & we will do some wonder one day. :|

But what about those about whom I am going to talk now? Infact ...

Pl read thru the below & yes, this is not just a story. This is reality. Once you are done reading thru this whole thing, I would like you all to answer just few questions:

  • Is it right on part of the majority indian population to Brand all people belonging to a specific religion as Terrorists?
  • Is it right for the same majority indian population to ask for these people belonging to a specific religion to prove if they are true Patriots or not?

"I am...

Kashmir Boils again: 3 killed, 4 injured in firing at Pampore

Posted by Neeraj Singh on August 1, 2010 at 10:20 AM Comments comments (0)

Isn't there any solution to this. I remember, while I was too samll probably studying in Class 1, Kashmir as a clean & gorgeous place full of natural beauty. Such was the glory of J&K. We would go all places on the weekends, people were so forthcoming & nice. I just fail to understand what has happened to the same very state now.

Any place is good or bad because of its people but as I know the people of J&K, they are so good yet why such blood...
